In een officiële mededeling op www.KANE.nl staat te lezen:
KANE heeft het optreden voor vanavond op het Museumplein in Amsterdam gecancelled. Diep medeleven gaat uit naar de slachtoffers op deze droevige dag. We hopen dat iedereen in Amsterdam rustig en zonder incidenten naar huis kan gaan.
Voor ons is spelen geen optie. We gaan er van uit dat dit begrepen gaat worden.

Gig cancelled

In an official statement on www.KANE.nl we can read:
KANE decided to cancel their performance on the Museumplein in Amsterdam this evening. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the victims ( of the car crash earlier on today in Apeldoorn - KANEpromoladies). We hope everybody in Amsterdam can return home safely and without any incidents.
Performing for us is not an option. We hope everybody can respect our decision.

KANE in AMSTERDAM!

Vandaag is het eindelijk zover; het Koninginnedagfeest op het Museumplein is inmiddels losgebarsten. Onder andere Tiesto, Alain Clark, Ray & Anita, Ilse DeLange, Kane, Guus Meeuwis en Kate Ryan zijn erbij! Kun jij er niet bij zijn, volg de optredens - KANE zal naar alle waarschijnlijkheid om 19:00 het podium opstappen - dan via de live stream en check de foto’s en video’s… Radio 538 stage wordt gepresenteerd door LG.

ADO gaat door!

Nadat we in een eerder update vermeld hadden dat er problemen waren mbt de vergunning voor de ADO gig - en er een aantal onder jullie een beetje ongerust werden of het concert wel zou plaatsvinden - lezen we nu het volgende op de KANE hyves:
De vergunning voor het concert op 6 Juni in het ADO Den Haag stadion is officieel rond. Op AD.nl lezen we volgend artikel over deze kwestie. Eind goed al goed dus. We zien jullie in het ADO stadion!!! We geven jullie nog mee dat op www.ad.nl/kane zijn de laatste veldkaarten voor dit concert beschikbaar.

After we updated about problems regarding the necessary licence for the ADO gig - and some of you got a bit worried whether there would be a gig or not - we can now read up on following on the KANE hyves:
The licence for the gig on the 6th of June at the ADO stadium in The Hague has been granted. On AD.nl we can read up on the following article on this matter. All ends well we can say. We’ll be seeing you sexy guys and gorgeous ladies at the ADO stadion!!! On www.ad.nl/kane you can buy the last tickets for this gig.

We vonden op Festivalinfo volgende wedstrijd die jullie KANEfans wel zal interesseren:
Het AJOC Festival is een 4-daags festival, georganiseerd door vrijwilligers. Het vindt elk jaar plaats in het Pinksterweekend in Mijldrecht. Op 29, 30, 31 mei en 1 juni. Op het AJOC festival staan elk jaar diverse artiesten van Nederlandse bodem. Dit jaar zullen de volgende artiesten te zien zijn. Kraak & Smaak, Nick & Simon, Jan Smit, Guus Meeuwis, Bløf, Rigby, stereo, Miss Montreal, Kane, en de Golden Earring. Voor het hele programma kun je op de AJOC site terecht.
De website van Festivalinfo mag 2x2 passe partout weggeven voor het AJOC festival. Om kans te maken op deze passe partout vroegen zij zich af, Waar staat AJOC eigenlijk voor? The AJOC Festival is a 4-day festival, organised by volunteers. It’s held during the last weekend of May in Mijldrecht. On the 29th, 30th, 31th of May and 1th of June. At the AJOC festival there will perform a lot of Dutch artists/bands. This year the line-up include. Bavaria Open Air + Zomerfeest

Gelezen bij AT productions en op ED.nl:
Het nieuwe festival Bavaria Open Air, dat op 28 en 29 augustus op het Bavaria-terrein in Lieshout wordt gehouden, kent een line-up met vrijwel louter grote namen. Op vrijdag zijn er optredens van onder meer Bløf, Kane, Novastar en Bertolf en op zaterdag treden Ilse de Lange, Racoon, Acda en De Munnik, Guus Meeuwis, Rowwen Hèze, Het Goede Doel en Milow op. Ook de winnaar van de lokale muzikantenwedstrijd Pop Uit Laarbeek krijgt een plaatsje op het podium. De benodigde vergunningen zijn inmiddels rond. Het festival moet per dag tien- tot vijftienduizend bezoekers trekken. Maandag (vandaag) wordt meer informatie bekendgemaakt over onder meer de kaartverkoop en de programmering. En ook aan de KANE zomer agenda toegevoegd ( en bedankt John om ons ff attent op te maken): 18 augustus Zomerfeest Gorinchem; Van 18 tot en met 23 augustus is het weer zover; dan start de 2009 editie van het leukste evenement in de Gorinchemse binnenstad: de Gorinchemse Zomerfeesten, locatie Groenmarkt. De organisatie is wederom in geslaagd een week lang topacts te programmeren, die hun sporen in de Nederlandse muziek ruimschoots hebben verdiend of hard op weg zijn om hun plek in de Nederlandse showbizz te veroveren. Uiteraard zijn we erg blij met de terugkeer van Kane naar de Gorinchemse binnenstad, 10 jaar na hun 1e optreden (toen nog op de Grote Markt).

The organsisers have managed to put together a line-up of topacts, well known Dutch artists alongside New Dutch talent. It goeswithout saying they are very pleased with the return of KANE to the center of Gorinchem, 10 years after their first gig there (on the old stage at the Grote Markt).

Er zijn weer een aantal nieuwe data aan de KANE agenda toegevoegd:
Gelezen op de site van het Haags Pop Podium - trouwens PROFICIAT met je 10 jaar Gerard!! - eerder deze week:
Ook de Haagse rockband Kane geeft op Koninginnedag een concert tijdens het Radio 538 concert op het Museumplein in Amsterdam. (..)
Op de site van Atproductions lezen we ook dat KANE op Zaterdag 22 augustus in Theater de Meenthe in Steenwijk zal staan samen met Rigby en Van Dik Hout. Let wel; voor het unieke concert zijn maximaal 1800 kaarten beschikbaar die vanaf maandag 4 mei te te reserveren zijn via www.demeenthe.nl .
En in het laatste weekend van de zomervakantie vindt voor de derde maal het spetterende Paradie Overschie festival plaats. Ook dit jaar treedt een aantal van de populairste Nederlandse artiesten van dit moment op. (..) Op zaterdag gaat Overschie uit zijn dak met Racoon en Kane (..).

Update Dinand ...EN NOG EEN!!!!!

Dat de heren van KANE blij zijn met de 3 uitverkochte Singles Only concerten is wel duidelijk want we lezen vanochtend deze update van Dinand op de KANE hyves:
...ook 7 oktob... nee geintje! Drie keer is scheepsrecht, al is het wel tempting om te zien hoe lang je zo iets kan doorzetten ha, ha... We wilden er oorspronkelijk maar 1 doen, Paradiso haalde ons over om er misschien toch twee te doen, jullie maken er drie van!!!
KANE SINGLES ONLY 4, 5 & 6 OKTOBER; UITVERKOCHT!
Da's toch leuk. De gigs alleen maar aankondigen op KANE.NL en onze Hyves. Echt bedankt iedereen, long live the web... 3 x 1600 kaarten in een zucht weg. Iets om naar uit te kijken. Zeker daar de album release van KANE NR. 5 daar nooit heel lang na kan gaan komen... Van single naar single. Het is een leuk idee als je tenminste zoveel succesvolle singles hebt dat je er een avond mee kan vullen. Heel bizar dat wij dat hebben. 19 minimaal top 40 singles, waarvan de meeste ruim. Ga maar alvast oefenen Paradiso. 'Can You Handle Me' wordt er een van jou en ons.

It’s obvious the KANE guys are extatic about selling out all 3 Singles Only gigs and so we can read a New update written by Dinand on the KANE hyves:
...let’s add the 7th of October.. Nah just kidding! Three times lucky it is, although it’s tempting to see how just far we can go with this ha, ha... We only wanted to do one gig at first, the guys from the Paradiso venue convinced us to do 2, and you guys wanted 3!!!

So amazing. We only announced the gigs on KANE.NL and our Hyves. Thanks ever so much everybody, long live the web... 3 x 1600 tickets sold in a heartbeat. Something to look forward to. Especialy when you know the release of KANE album NR. 5 can’t come much later after that.. From single to single. It’s nice to know you’ve got as many released single to fill a whole evening with. Very strange we can. 19 singles made the top 40. Get rehearsing for the Paradiso gig(s). 'Can You Handle Me' will be one we’ll share, the band and you.

Donderdag: 3FM Awards!

Nu donderdagavond worden weer de 3FM Awards uitgereikt… en KANE maakt kans op een (twee, drie?) Award(s); tenminste als jij je stem ingezonden hebt!
Ben je er donderdagavond in de Gashouder zelf bij dan willen we je zeker hard genoeg KANE horen roepen (de hele Awards show lang uhu). Kan je er niet bij zijn in Amsterdam dan kan je de show donderdagavond live volgen via radio, TV en internet: Volg het dan vanaf 19:00 op 3FM. De VARA zendt de show rechtstreeks uit op Nederland 3 van 20.30 tot 21.55 uur en op 3FM.nl kan je de livestream volgen die ook na het einde van de TV uitzending nog verder gaat.
En… na afloop kan je op www.3fm.nl/awards backstage filmpjes terugkijken en foto's checken van deze op voorhand al onvergetelijke avond.
Dus… GO GO GO KANE ;)

An Award for KANE?

This Thursday night the Dutch 3FM Awards will be handed out again… and KANE is nominated for a few Awards and so might go home with one, two or three Awards; that is if you guys & dolls have voted for them!
If you will be at the awards party at the Gashouder venue then make sure we ladies can hear you shout out KANE loud enough (during the entire Awards show that is oh yes). Not able to join the party in Amsterdam? No worries, you get a chance to keep up on things on Thursday night live through radio, TV and internet: check in from 19:00 on Dutch radio 3FM. The Dutch tv-channel VARA will broadcast the show live on Nederland 3 from 20:30 until 21:55 and on 3FM.nl you can catch up on the livestream that‘ll be on even after the TV broadcasting.
And.. Afterwards just check out www.3fm.nl/awards for the backstage videos and photo’s from this unforgetable night.

EXTRA CONCERT

Goed nieuws voor diegene die afgelopen weekend geen tickets voor de speciale ‘KANE 10 JAAR - Sinlges Only’ concerten konden scoren. Want wat lezen we vanochtend op Atproductions.com: Extra concert 10 jaar KANE in Paradiso - Singles Only!!! KANE geeft op 6 oktober een extra concert ivm zijn 10 jarig bestaan. De eerste 2 shows, op respectievelijk 4 en 5 oktober, waren afgelopen zaterdag binnen 10 minuten uitverkocht. Binnenkort blikt KANE op nog een aantal bijzondere manieren terug op zijn 10 jarig bestaan. Houdt daarvoor de vernieuwde website www.kane.nl in de gaten. Op dit moment werkt KANE aan het vijfde studio album.

Very good news for those that weren’t able to buy tickets for the special ‘KANE 10 JAAR - Sinlges Only’ gigs this weekend. This morning the following extra bulletin was placed on Atproductions.com: Extra concert 10 jaar KANE in Paradiso - Singles Only!!! KANE has added an extra gig on the 6th of October to celebrate their 10 years on stage. The two first gigs, on the 4th and 5th of October, were sold out in a matter of 10 minutes last Saturday. The following year will remenice their 10 years on stage in a very special way. Keep your eyes on the all New and improved www.kane.nl for that. Currently KANE are in the studio working on their 5th album.

Eind mei is het weer tijd voor het Oerrock festival. Een gezellig festival dat elk jaar een aantal grote artiesten kan aantrekken. Zelf verwoorden de mannen het zo op de Oerrock website: ‘Het bestuur van Oerrock. Zeven doodgewone jongens die een feest organiseren . Het begon als een grapje, er werd nooit wat leuks in ons dorp georganiseerd. Toen onder genot van een biertje is Oerrock geboren. Ondertussen is dit de 10 keer dat we het festival organiseren. Een festival die in heel Nederland bekend is geworden. Dankzij onze vrijwilligers (dit zijn er ruim honderd) en sponsoren komen artiesten graag naar ons toe en kunnen we dit neerzetten.’

At the end of May it’s that time again for the Dutch Oerrock festival. A cosy festival that manages to attrackt some popular artists each year. On their website the guys say this about their festival: ‘The organization of Oerrock. Seven guys wou organize a party. Eej, hier even berichtje uit de Wisseloord Studio! Eigenlijk loopt alles wel op rolletjes. De chat loopt, de webcam staat aan, de site is online, Paradiso is aangekondigd, de zomer staat vol festivals, het ADO stadion staat op het programma en misschien wel het belangrijkste: we hebben al 5 songs opgenomen! damn! Sneller dan het licht!
Die gasten (Ivo en Joost), beter bekend als 'The RockinRhythmTwins', hebben samen met uw gastheren Heavy D & Denino in samenwerking met Nico 'Conejo' Brandsen even de Wisseloord door elkaar geschud! Heel erg lekker!

De Wisseloord sessies 1

We vonden een nieuwe update van Dinand op de KANE hyves:
… Big up voor ons team voor het lanceren van KANE.NL!!! Top gedaan jongens, of liever gezegd… Top dames! The female touch is what we need… Verder zal het je niet ontgaan zijn dat we eenmalig iets doen met onze 10 jaar onderweg. Paradiso voor de band en de fans! Zo moet het zijn. Morgenochtend gaan ze er uit. Zou leuk zijn als je erbij bent!
Verder zijn we druk bezig in de Wisseloord Studio’s. De sessie loopt ok… Als we de sound hebben staan de tracks er rap op. De vibe is goed, de songs zijn beter en het lijkt erop dat we een echo terugkrijgen van ooit.;’het 5e album is het …!’ Ha, ha, ha, we gaan het zien…

KANE update - New style

Nieuwe KANE.NL en hoppa Dennis en D. gooien al hun eerste update op (hebben we dat gemist Dennuzz):
Little boys are growing up! Het is al weer 10 jaar geleden dat wij onze eerste single Where do I go Now uit brachten. En wat een avontuur is er toen begonnen! Een decennium vol met hoogtepunten, heftige periodes en talloze onvergetelijke momenten. Het jongensboek duurt nog steeds voort, maar we zijn in 2009 aangeland en we willen '10 jaar KANE' niet stilletjes aan ons voorbij laten gaan. (…)
En dus staan er 2 gigs in dé concerttempel van Nederland - PARADISO - op de KANE agenda, blikken ze binnenkort op de KANE hyves op die tien intense KANE jaren terug op een hele speciale manier en kan je via de vernieuwde KANE.NL de heren via de webcam in de Wisseloord studios aan’t werk zien en zelfs met hen chatten. Inloggen voor de chat en op de hoogte blijven van al het lekkers wat nog komen gaat moet dus op - jawel - KANE.NL ;)

Little boys are growing up! It’s been 10 years already since we’ve released our first single Where do I go Now. And what an adventure started at that moment! A decade filled with highlights, intens times and many moment we’ll never forget. We keep on adding amazing stuff to our action packed story book, but we’ve come to the year 2009 and we can’t let '10 years KANE' pass by now can we. (…)
And so the guys decided to put 2 gigs at thé concert venue of The Netherlands - PARADISO - on the KANE agenda, they’ll remenice on those past 10 years on the KANE hyves and you guys and dolls will have a chance to join in on the fun in the Wisseloord studies as they’ve set up a webcam so everything can be seen and heared (maybe). To take part in the chatsessions, or to get updates on what’s more to come this year just check in on - yes you know - KANE.NL ;)

Ajoc tickets!

Zin in een avondje Ajoc maar nog geen tickets - om wat voor reden dan ook- dan hebben wij een tip voor je. Het volgende lazen we op nlpop.blog:
Eén van de leukste festivals van Nederland vindt eind mei weer plaats: Ajoc in Mijdrecht (gemeente de Ronde Venen). Het vierdaagse evenement vindt plaats rond Pinksteren en elk jaar staan er de grootste artiesten van eigen bodem voor een schappelijke toegangsprijs. Ook dit jaar is de line-up allesomvattend te noemen. NLpop mag kaarten weggeven. Wil jij vrijdag 29 mei naar Ajoc met Rigby, Kane en Jan Smit? Geef dan antwoord op de volgende vraag: Welke band sluit Ajoc dit jaar af? Mail je antwoord naar herman.roggeveen@blog.nl ovv prijsvraag Ajoc voor 21 april 2009. SCHIJNDEL: JA! JA! JA!

Hey hallo! Wij zijn terug van een te gek -muzikaal ‘hoor ik All day daar, en bedankt D. haha - & extreem mooi weer- paasweekend bij de noorderburen.. Hoop dat jullie ook gezellige Paasdagen gehad hebben natuurlijk ;)
Wie’t ook ‘gezellug’ gehad hebben zijn de heren van KANE zoals we in de update van Dinand op de KANE hyves kunnen lezen:
Toegegeven... De kop was er al een beetje af vorige week in Alphen, maar het is publiek geheim dat de 'echte' start van het festivalseizoen begint op Paaspop in Schijndel. En wat voor een start! We trapten af met Catwalk, door naar Somethin' to say en op 3 een nieuwe oude; SCREAM'... Het maakte niet uit, bekend of onbekend. Het was zon gig waar alles op z'n plek viel. Tijdens de 2e toegift met 'Where do I go now?' iedereen heel even uitkijken, zodat er geen ongelukken ontstonden, nadat een bepaalde zanger een enthousiaste menigte indook. Het ging allemaal goed.
Het was top Schijndel! Dank iedereen voor zo'n goede vibe. Nu op naar de studio; deel 1 van de opname van KANE 5 start op paaszondag!!! Fijn Pasen iedereen... en hou KANE.NL in de gaten... misschien zien we je daar!
Weltrusten, of liever gezegd, goedemorgen.

Hello there! We’ve returned home after an awesome -both on the musical ‘do I hear that All day cover, and thanks D. haha - & weather level- easter weekend at the Dutchies.. We hope you guys and dolls had an awesome easter weekend like we did ofcours ;)
Also had a ‘cosy’ time were the guys from KANE as we can read up on in the update Dinand wrote on the KANE hyves:
I admitt... We kicked off last week at the Pleinpop festival in Alphen, but everybody knows the 'real' kick off of the festival season is at Paaspop in Schijndel. And what a kick off it was! Started the set with Catwalk, on to Somethin' to say and on three a new old one; SCREAM'... It doesn’t mather, known or unknown. It was that kind of gig where it all fell into place. During the second extra with 'Where do I go now?' a few had to watch out for accidents as an over-enthousiastic and not mentioned by name lead singer jumped into the crowd. It all went well.
Schijndel kicked ass! Thanks everybody for the great vibe. Now we’re on our way to the studio; part 1 of the KANE5 recording will start on easter sunday!!! Have a happy easter everyone... And keep your eyes on KANE.NL... we’ll might catch you there!

Din Tweet & win kaartjes Indian Summer

Zo… zijn wij ff tussen Motel Mozaïque en Paaspop door met een … Update haha.
Terwijl wij nog lekker lagen te slapen zat Dinand al lekker te twitteren want lezen op de KANE OFFICIAL twitter volgende berichtjes van hem: ‘Hallo!!! Net design nieuwe KANE.NL bekeken, wordt echt onwijs te gek! Mag het natuurlijk eigenlijk niet vertellen..‘ en ‘maar misschien staat ze wel heel snel online.. Boys & Girls... hou je ogen open! ha ha... D.’ Awww cute (en spannend) nieuws toch, nu alleen ff onthouden dat twitter slecht 140 tekens gebruikt en ff onthouden dat die die-hard fèns natuurlijk in’t lang en breed al op de Paaspop wei liggen :p … kane.nl in de gaten houden dus voor dat New design… ja Din, doen we Din. Wij hebben het al ff ge-re-tweet (jaja) op onze KANEpromoladies twitter, weet Tokio het ook weeral.
En dan geven we jullie ook nog mee - vanuit het zomerse Rotterrrrdam - dat er kaartjes voor Indian Summer te winnen zijn. Oh ja? En das interessant waarom dan? Nou omdat KANE er staat! Ohhhh ok. Maare waar dan? Nou… bij 3fm dan! Check ff de 3fm website, los het makkelijke vraagje op en hup straks sta je met je laarsjes (of sandaaltjes hey we don’t care) op Indian Summer… geweldig toch!

Earlier on today, while us ladies were still sleeping, Dinand was cheerfully twittering away as we can read up on the tweets at KANE OFFICIAL twitter: ‘Hello!!! Just got a look at the new design of KANE.NL, it’s gonna be wicked! To be honest I’ve got to keep my mouth shut ..‘ and ‘but it might get soon online .. Boys & Girls... Keep your eyes open! ha ha... D.’ Awww cute (and exciting) news ain’t it, he’s just gotta learn to remember that twitter only uses 140 signs and remember that those die-hard fans of his are already camping on the Paaspop festival :p … So gotta retour eyes on kane.nl for that new design… yes Din, we’ll do Din. We’ve done a re-tweet (oh yes) at the KANEpromoladies twitter, so Tokio is warned.
And in addition we’ll give you the uppers - from sunny Rotterrrrdam - that you can win Indian Summer tickets. Oh really? And we want to know why? Cause KANE will play there! Ohhhh ok. But how do we enter? well… at radio 3fm! Geen vergunning???

Gelezen op de site van Gerard:
De organisatie van het Kane-concert in het ADO Stadion heeft nog geen vergunning aangevraagd bij de gemeente. Dat zei burgemeester Jozias van Aartsen vrijdag in zijn eigen tweewekelijkse rubriek op Den Haag FM. Hij begrijpt niet dat ADO en de concertorganisator de publiciteit hebben gezocht zonder dat dit geregeld was. "Ze hadden beter eerst naar het stadhuis kunnen wandelen in plaats van naar de krant." Het probleem ligt extra gevoelig omdat het concert gehouden wordt als proef. Eigenlijk is er met de gemeenteraad afgesproken dat dit soort evenementen niet in het stadion gehouden mogen worden vanwege de geluidsoverlast. Het experimentele concert zou moeten aantonen of het lawaai voor de buurt binnen de perken kan blijven.
ADO Den Haag liet vandaag weten nog niet te kunnen reageren op de uitspraken van Van Aartsen. Volgens een woordvoerder is er eerst nog overleg nodig bij de club en met de gemeente. Onderstaand aan het artikel op het Haags Pop Podium is een deel van het commentaar van Van Aartsen te beluisteren. Wordt ongetwijfeld vervolgd…

Licence… or not?

Read on the website of Haags Pop Podium:
The event organisers of the Kane-concert at the ADO stadium have neglected to requested a licence from the city of The Hague up until now. The mayor, Jozias van Aartsen, commented on this subject on Friday in his radio talk on radio Den Haag FM. He can’t understand there’s already been made publicity of this event by the organisers and ADO without doing the necessary administration. "the first thing they should’ve done is walk to the town hall instead of to the newspaper." This issue is very sensitive as the concert is a try-out for later events to be held at the ADO stadium. There was an agreement with the city of The Hague these kind of events were not suitable for the stadium as off the noise polution. The try-out gig will have to make clear wether the noise isn’t a burden for the neighbourhood.
ADO The Hague issued a statement today not to respond on the comments of Van Aartsen. A spokesperson said there will be conversations between ADO and the city of The Hague. Below the article on the Haags Pop Podium there’s an audio-tape with the comments made by Van Aartsen (in Dutch). To be continued for sure we think…

En meer nieuws over het KANE speelt in het ADO stadion want in de KANE nieuwsbrief van vandaag lezen we:
Speciaal voor al onze fans hebben wij een mooie deal met het ADO stadion gemaakt. We hebben bedongen dat onze fans voor deze special gig voorrang moeten krijgen op de reguliere verkoop!
Fans kunnen namelijk Vrijdag - 3 april om 12.00 uur - al (morgen dus!) tickets kopen via de link in de KANE nieuwsbrief i.p.v. maandag als de reguliere verkoop van start gaat. We mogen bovendien een paar duizend tickets voor 25 euro aanbieden, i.p.v. de normale ticketprijs van 40 euro. Het zijn ook nog eens de beste kaarten zodat de band en de fans dicht bij elkaar staan! Dus zorg dat je achter je computer zit want op=op. Deze actie is eenmalig.

NO JOKE! & zandstock

Gisteren - 1 april - werd bekend dat KANE als eerste band de eer krijgt om het ADO stadion ‘in te spelen’. Meteen werd hierop erg enthousiast maar ook bij sommige terughoudend gereageerd; tussen de vele reacties die wij in onze mailbox kregen lazen wij oa. ‘SUPERRRR dat de mannen eindelijk een thuismatch gaan spelen, hoe kom ik aan kaartjes?’ tot ‘ja funny. 1 april haha!’. En dus zeggen we vandaag ff duidelijk ladies and gents het is GEEN GRAP: KANE SPEELT OP 6 JUNI IN HET ADO STADION. En er is meer zoals je in het interview met Dinand op radio 538 gisteren kon beluisteren of in de update die vanochtend op de KANE hyves staat kan lezen. Heren… deze ladies zijn klaar voor dit feestje ;)
Ook gisteren - en ook geen grap - werd er een nieuwe datum toegevoegd aan de concertdata lijst; KANE zal op 8 augustus op Zandstock staan, meer info op zandstock.nl.

ADO & zandstock

Yesterday - April fools day - KANE announced they’d be the first band ever to ‘rock out’ the ADO stadium in The Hague, The Netherlands. This newsflash caused a bit of a commotion amongsts fans but still a few were hesitant; after receiving a lot of mails on this topic yesterday we can share a few comments: ‘GRRRRREAT the guys will finally play home, how do I get my hands on tickets? And ‘oh yes very funny. Aprils fool day haha!’. And so we’ll say this very clearly today, ladies and gents it’s NO JOKE: KANE WIL PERFORM ON THE 6TH OF JUNE AT THE ADO STADIUM IN THE HAGUE. And there’s more as you can hear in the interview with Dinand on radio 538 yesterday or can read up on in the interview that‘s to be found on the KANE hyves. Guys… these ladies are so ready for this party ;)
In addition - and also not a joke - there was a extra date added to the concert list yesterday; KANE will perform on the 8th of August at the Zandstock festival, more info on that can be found on zandstock.nl.

HAAGSE KWARTIERTJES!!!!!

Het is 1 april… en dan weet je dat niet alles is wat het lijkt… maar dan lezen we op de KANE hyves vanochtend het volgende bericht van Dinand:
'Jongens, vinden jullie het niet een tof idee om deze zomer nog wat speciaals te doen? Iets wat we nog niet gedaan hebben?... Ik ben net weer gebeld door het ADO bestuur of we in juni het ADO stadion komen testen of er goed gigs gedaan kunnen worden...' Zo ongeveer ging dat gesprek met ons management een paar maanden geleden. Dat we het al een tijdje wilden, was waar; gesprekken met ADO lopen al jaren, maar om een of andere reden kwam het er niet van. Dus geen gig toen ADO het Zuiderpark ging verlaten en geen gig toen het nieuwe stadion open ging...
Maar nu dus wel!!! Op zaterdag 6 juni spelen we in het ADO stadion. Voor de derde keergevraagd en nu is het raak. 'Kom dan deze zomer het stadion testen?', was de vraag. Het antwoord is dus JA! Maar dan willen we het wel in eerste instantie aan de fans geven en daarna aan al het andere...
Kortom... Wij gaan thuis de enige grote gig van het jaar doen, daar gaan we gelijk wat nieuwe nummers uitproberen van het aankomende nieuwe album. Het wordt een intieme gig. KANE & het publiek, thuis in Den Haag. Oproep aan de fans overal; we willen graag dat jullie er bij zijn en ook als eerste de kans hebben om er bij te zijn en er zijn niet zo veel kaarten. Check morgen het Algemeen Dagblad, deze site en je mailbox met een nieuwsbrief.

It’s April fools day… so you know things can get a little bit tricky today… but then we can read up on this update from Dinand on the KANE hyves:
'Guys, you’d be up for something special this summer? Something we’ve never done before?... Just got a phone call from soccer club ADO with the question if we would like to check out if their soccer stadium is suited to play gigs in… ' that was the vibe of the conversation a few months ago between them and our management. It’s true, we were dreaming of doing this for ages; talks with the ADO soccer club had been going on for years, but for some reason just not made real. So no gig when ADO left Zuiderpark and no gig when the new stadium opened...
But now it’s made real!!! If we were free to play a gig on Saturday the 6th of June at the ADO stadium was the question. Three times lucky it is. 'So you guys will come to check out the stadium this summer?', the question was. The answer is YES! But the fans get the scoop first and afterwards the world...
So... We’ll be doing our biggest gig of the year right here at home, and we’ll be trying out some New tracks of the New album as well. It’ll be an intimate gig. KANE & the audiance, at home in The Hague. Message to the fans here and abroad; we really want you guys to be a part of this and get first access to the tickets as there will not be many available. Check Dutch newspaper het Algemeen Dagblad, KANE hyves and your mailbox with our newsletter tomorrow.
