Twitts, YouTube & 2009!

Ondertussen weten jullie al wel dat wij ladies erg graag met social media tools werken. Zo zitten we al een tijdje gezellig te twitteren op Twitter. En we zijn niet alleen; Barack Obama, Lance Armstrong, Giel Beelen, Moke, 013, SXSW en velen anderen twitteren ook. Twitter is een 'microblog', waarin je met gebruik van max. 140 tekens de wereld info over jezelf mee kan geven. Check het laatste KANEnieuws, KANE wedstrijden en KANE cd/single releases op www.twitter.com/kanepromoladies.
Ook op YouTube kan ja al een tijdje een KANEpromoladies pagina vinden, net als KANE met een eigen KANE Official YouTube Channel er te vinden is. En net dat laatste word interessant om volgen want er werd ons verteld dat daar hele leuke dingen gaan gebeuren in 2009...
En tot slot: zeer binnenkort lezen jullie hier meer nieuws over de plannen van KANE voor de rest van 2009. We verklappen alvast... dat je het helemaal te gek gaat vinden!!

Hot stuff

By now you all will know we ladies love working with social media tools. We’ve been twittering away on Twitter for a while now. And we’re not alone; Barack Obama, Lance Armstrong, Jools Holland, CNN, SXSW and many more all are to be found on there. Twitter is a 'microblog', on which you can give the world info in using max. 140 signs on what you’re up to. Check for the latest KANE news feeds, KANE competitions and KANE cd/single releases in on www.twitter.com/kanepromoladies.
We’re also to be found on YouTube for a while now - check the KANEpromoladies page - just like KANE has got their own KANE Official YouTube Channel. And this, so have we been told, is worth following or ‘befriending’ as you will be able to find some awesome things on it in the next couple of months...
And finally: in a very short while you can read up on what KANE will be up to in the next months/year. We can tell you this already... You’re gonna love it!!

KANE in Arnhem en Almere

Op de KANE hyves staat vandaag te lezen:
KANE is 5 Mei 2009 de topact op het Bevrijdingsfestival Flevoland in Almere. Er worden ruim 50.000 bezoekers verwacht. Om iedereen goed zicht te geven op het podium zal een zeer grote 'led-wall' worden geplaatst op de Esplanade, waarop middels live-regie het concert te zien zal zijn. Toegang: GRATIS! Meer informatie over het festival is te vinden op www.5mei.nu. Ook op Koninginnenacht - Woensdagavond 29 april as. - kan je KANE aan het werk zien want dan staan ze naast een aantal anders Nederlandse artiesten/bands op het grote podium van het Arnhemse Oranjefeest. Dit liet organisator Robin Hagen eerder deze week in pers weten… Meer info hierover kan je via deze website vinden.

KANE on stage

On the KANE hyves we can read up on the following:
KANE is top act on the 5th of May 2009 in Almere, the Netherlands for the Bevrijdingsfestival. A capacity of 50.000 visitors is expected to show up. To ensure the view for every visitor a huge "led-wall" will be set up on the Esplanade where the artists/bands can be watched by a live-feed. Access: FREE! More info about the festival can be found on www.5mei.nu. And on Queensday or better night - Wednesday the 29th of April - KANE is to appear next to other Dutch artists/bands on the main stage of the city of Arnhem. En nog 3FM nieuws; KANE is 3x genomineerd voor een 3FM Award! In de categorieën ‘Best Band’, ‘Best Artist Rock’ en ‘Best Live Act’ maken de heren kans om een award in de wacht te slepen… En of ze die winnen dat ligt aan JULLIE! Stemmen kan vanaf NU via de 3FM website …

KANE in de 00’s Request Top 100

Een tijdje geleden vroegen we jullie om bij 3FM 00’s Request op KANE tracks te stemmen. Vandaag werd de Top 100 bekend gemaakt en…ze staan in de lijst en wel met Rain down on me op nr. 68! Luisteraars van 3FM verkozen het nummer 'Clocks' van Coldplay tot favoriete plaat van het eerste decennium van de 21ste eeuw. De band bezet ook de tweede plaats in de Top 100 met 'Viva la Vida'.
3FM zendt de 00s Request Top 100 morgen, Vrijdag 20 februari, uit van 10.00 tot 18.00 uur.

A while ago we asked you guys & dolls to vote on some KANE tracks @ Dutch radio 3FM 00’s Request. Today the Top 100 was made public… and, the guys made it to the list with Rain down on me at the number 68 spot! Listeners of radio 3FM selected the Coldplay track 'Clocks' as their favourite one of the 21ste century. The band also got the seconde spot in the Top 100 with 'Viva la Vida'.
The 00s Request Top 100 is on radio 3FM tomorrow, Friday the 20th of February, from 10.00 until 18.00 o‘clock.

KANE op de Nederlandse TMF Awards?

Gelezen op de KANE hyves:
Er is door de TMF kijkers gekozen welke Nederlandse artiesten echt niet mogen ontbreken op het TMF Awards Festival 4 Juli in Rotterdam. KANE staat in de top 12, en jullie mogen nu kiezen wie van deze 12 artiesten jij wil zien optreden tijdens de TMF Awards!! Wil jij KANE op de TMF AWARDS zien optreden? Breng dan NU je stem uit via deze link! (..) Dus breng je stem uit, en wie weet staat KANE te spelen op het podium van de TMF Awards 2009!

KANE 18x in Radio West Top 500!

Een tijdje geleden riepen we jullie op om op KANE te stemmen in de Radio West Top 500. Deze werd afgelopen weekend uitgezonden op Radio West en wat bleek; maar liefst 18 KANE tracks werden door jullie de lijst ingestemd. De 3 meest populaire KANE tracks zijn op nr. 15 in de lijst ’Shot of a gun’ op nr. 8 ’Rain down on me’ en op nr. 2 ’Damn those eyes’. De absolute nummer 1 is en blijft ‘Radar love’ van de Haagse rockband Golden Earring.

A while ago we asked you guys to vote on some KANE tracks for Dutch Radio West Top 500. This was broadcasted during the past weekend and what was the result; all 18 KANE tracks have been voted on to the Top 500. The 3 most popular KANE tracks are at nr. 15 ’Shot of a gun’ at nr. 8 ’Rain down on me’ and at nr. 2 ’Damn those eyes’. The absolute number 1 is still ‘Radar love’ of Dutch rockband Golden Earring.

KANE op PAASPOP

Paaspop Schijndel heeft haar volledige programma bekendgemaakt. KANE, The Blackout (UK), Elle Bandita, Epica, Face Tomorrow, Jaya The Cat, Kyteman's Hiphop Orkest, Miss Montreal, De Staat, Triggerfinger en Ziggi & The Renaissance Band zijn de laatste namen die Paaspop-organisator Chris Seijkens woensdagmiddag om half drie nog aan LiveXS kon bevestigen voor de editie 2009.
De opener van het festivalseizoen start donderdagochtend 5 februari de kaartverkoop van e-tickets. Combitickets voor zowel zaterdag 11 en zondag 12 februari gaan € 74 kosten. Alle info op www.paaspop.nl.

Dutch festival Paaspop in Schijndel announced their full line-up for this years edition today. KANE, The Blackout (UK), Elle Bandita, Epica, Face Tomorrow, Jaya The Cat, Kyteman's Hiphop Orkest, Miss Montreal, De Staat, Triggerfinger and Ziggi & The Renaissance Band are the final artists to be added to the list for the Paaspop 2009 edition as Paaspop-organisator Chris Seijkens made public on Wednesday at 2:30 to LiveXS.
The first festival of the season kicks off his ticket sales online (e-tickets) early on Thursday morning the 5th of February. Combitickets for Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th of February will cost € 74. All info to be found on www.paaspop.nl.

De 5e editie van de 3FM Awards vindt plaats op donderdag 23 april 2009 in de Gashouder, Amsterdam. De 3FM Awards zijn de enige radioprijzen voor Nederlandse artiesten en bands, gekozen door de luisteraars van 3FM.
Een jaar, ook wel bekend als 52 weken of 365 dagen, levert een hoop muziek op. Om uit deze lange lijst van nummers en artiesten The Best Of the Best te kunnen selecteren, wil 3FM graag jouw voorkeur weten… en wij en jullie gaan natuurlijk voor KANE! Na Pleinpop op 3 april, Oerrock op 23 mei en het kazerneterrein Blerick op 12 juni werd er afgelopen Vrijdag op de KANE hyves nog een extra KANE concert/festival datum toegevoegd: AJOC festival op 29 mei. Voor info over dit laatste festival check de AJOC festival website, voor de andere data check onze vorige updates en/of onze Tourdates page …
Deze ladies hebben alvast zin in de festivals!!!

Next to the Pleinpop festival on the 3th of April, Oerrock festival on the 23th of May and the gig at the former army site in Venlo-Blerick on the 12th of June were added to KANE tour schedule the AJOC festival on the 29th of May also was added on the KANE hyves last Friday.
