GEM voorprogramma

De Nederlandse band GEM neemt op dinsdag 11 november het voorprogramma van Kane in het Depot te Leuven voor zijn rekening. Na wat wissels kwam het derde album New uit en staat de band weer als een huis. Lekkere pop, met onweerstaanbare refreinen en ijzersterke hooks. Maar nog altijd even onstuimig en energiek als voorheen! Meer info over de band GEM kan je vinden op hun myspace.
Of GEM ook de rest van de EVERYTHINGYOUWANT tour in het voorprogramma van KANE zal staan dat zal ATproductions nog deze week bekend maken…

Dutch band GEM will be support act on Tuesday the 11th of November when Kane will play at the Depot venue in Leuven, Belgium. After a few band member changes their thirth album New was released and the band is on fire. Tastefull pop, with catchy tunes and amazing hooks. But still as turbulent and powerfull as ever before! It’s not clear yet if GEM will be support act for the intire EVERYTHINGYOUWANT tour, this will be made public by ATproductions before the end of this week…

Interview’s TMF

Eerder deze week gaven we jullie al mee dat de nieuwe KANE clip It’s London Calling in première zou gaan in het programma RE:action op TMF Nederland. Naast de première waren Dinand en Dennis ook in de TMF studio voor een interview en om wat geheimen prijs te geven in de Confession Booth… Het interview ging natuurlijk over de nieuwe single, de komende clubtour maar ook over de vrouw van Dennis die "likkend in de Can you handle me’ clip zit" en daar mocht onze Dennis natuurlijk ff commentaar op geven. Earlier on this week the guys from KANE launched their New video for It’s London Calling on the TMF show RE:action. Beside launching the New video they also had an interview with vj Sasha and had to take place in the Confession Booth to tell a few of their secrets… The interview gave more insight on the New single, the upcomming clubtour and on the fact Dennis’ wife was "licking on the set of the ‘Can you handle me’ clip" and ofcours Dennis was given a chance to comment on that little fact. The interviews have been added to the TMF website and can be found on this link. The Confession Booth was also eh very intense and what was told there you can watch on this link. --- please not these interviews are in Dutch.

It’s London Calling

Een beetje dat gevoel of het kerst is en je verwacht dat ene mooie lieve ding waar je al zo lang naar vroeg… ladies and gents de primeur van It’s London Calling straks in TMF RE:action rond 16u30... en het is een juweeltje… opgenomen in Vilvoorde, België en naar Dinand’s eigen woorden ‘de mooiste clip die we met KANE ooit hebben opgenomen’. Bekijk em zelf en oordeel zelf…
Na de TMF primeur komt de video ook online op www.kane.nl en de official KANE YouTube… en natuurlijk ook hier ;) Vanaf deze week is de single ook op de radio te beluisteren en half oktober ligt deze in de winkel. Verwacht op de maxi-single oa een ‘Ibiza Sunset’ remix en de radio single-versie van ‘Wanna make it Happen’.

Kinda like the feeling you get when it’s christmas time and you know you’d be getting that one special present you wanted for ages… ladies and gents the launch of the New KANE clip It’s London Calling today at 16h30 on TMF’s RE:action …and it’s a little treasure… shot in Vilvoorde, Belgium and described by Dinand’s as ‘the most beautiful clip we ever made with KANE’. Check out the video and see what you think…
After the video launch on TMF it’ll be uploaded on www.kane.nl and the official KANE YouTube… and ofcours added here ;) From this week on the single will be featured on the radio and mid-October it’ll be available in the shops. Dennis geeft les

Een tijdje geleden gaven we jullie mee dat Edwin Jansen en Dennis weening sinds kort met het programma Rock Nation op zoek gaan naar nieuw rocktalent in Nederland… In de aflevering van gisteren zat er een verslag van een workshop die Dennis van Leeuwen van KANE gaf aan de gitaristen in het programma. A while ago we informed you guys that Dutch artist manager Edwin Jansen and presentor Dennis weening were looking for New rock talent in the New program Rock Nation which is on television in the Netherlands… Yesterday’s show included a workshop in which Dennis van Leeuwen of KANE teached the gitarist a few New tricks. TT Live!

Hey Assen, Drenthe… nog nooit geweest… voor landelijke rust, mooie fietsroutes en eh KANE moet je der zijn zegt de VVV folder. Mooi, wij de auto in en na een paar (?!) uurtjes cruisen en de mooie fietspaden en landelijke rust te hebben gespot stonden we aan een race circuit. Best spannend. Kruip uit die auto shake them tailfeathers en ga waar de muziek je heen lokt, zoiets. De eerste editie van TT live en KANE zou afsluiten, perfect. Na een rondje buurten, fast food en drinks, trouble shooten op z’n Belgisch en een spelletje stratego voor pubers werd het 20u30 de gekende remix klonk uit de boxen. De mannen op het podium zonder Miss Leona deze keer (was je dan sexy???). De setlist (ja je weet wel van wie) was als volgt: So Glad You Made It,Something To Say,Yeah Yeah Yeah, EverythingYouWant, Shot Of A Gun,R.E.A.L.,Fearless,Rain Down On Me,It's London Calling,en als toegift: Catwalk Criminal,Where Do I Go,All Day And All Off The Night en Before You Let Me Go. Het was leuk (dansen Maarten?), lachen (grrrroupies), springen (dj!) en het was Assen blijkbaar…
Na afloop hadden we nog een gesprek met Dinand en Dennis over de launch van de It’s London Calling clip - ‘shot in Vilvoorde nabij Brussel en nu Dinsdag te vinden op YouTube dames en ook in RE:action op de Nederlandse TMF die zelfde dag‘, het weer en onze gezondheid (?!) en de Belgische concerten - Vooruit en Depot tickets gaan hard koop je kaartjes NU dus!!!

TT live review

Hey Assen, Drenthe… never ever been… the place to be for beatiful rural scenery, nice cycling-tours pacours and ehm KANE tells the VVV folder ya‘ll. Alright then, we’re in our car and after cruising for a few (?!) hours we’re witness of the beatiful rural scenery, nice cycling-tours pacours and we arive at the race track. Exciting stuff. Stumble out of that car and shake them tailfeathers and go where the music wants you to go, something like that. The first edition of the TT live festival and KANE is headliner, perfect. After a round of checking in with the neighbours, fast food and drinks, trouble shooting in a Belgian way and a game of strategics for the adolescent it got 20u30 and that funky remix started playing. The guys, this time without Miss Leona (where were you sexy???), climbed ons stage. The setlist (uhu you know who we got it from) was: So Glad You Made It,Something To Say,Yeah Yeah Yeah, EverythingYouWant, Shot Of A Gun,R.E.A.L.,Fearless,Rain Down On Me,It's London Calling and extra’s: Catwalk Criminal,Where Do I Go,All Day And All Off The Night en Before You Let Me Go. We had a great time(shall we dance Maarten?), we laughed (grrrroupies), jumped (dj!) and totally got the Assen vibe…
After their set we got a chance to talk to Dinand and Dennis about the launch of the It’s London Calling videoclip - ‘shot in Vilvoorde near Brussels and to be found on YouTube and also in the program RE:action on Dutch music television TMF this Tuesday Ladies‘, the weather and our health (?!) and the Belgian concerts - Vooruit and Depot tickets are selling fast so get your tickets NOW!!!

50 jaar Nederpop

Radio 2 duikt met ‘50 Jaar Nederpop’ van 29 september tot en met 3 oktober in het grote vaderlandse muziekarchief op zoek naar de mooiste platen. De zender draait deze week uitsluitend muziek van Nederlandse bodem. Vrijdag 3 oktober presenteren ze de eerste Nederpop Top 100, gekozen door Radio 2 luisteraars met aansluitend een live verslag van het Concert van de Nederpop dat plaats heeft in de Heineken Music Hall. De VPRO registreert het concert in de HMH voor televisie en zendt dit op 11 oktober uit. Bovendien presenteert Eric Corton op 9 oktober een speciale Nederpopquiz op Nederland 3. Het digitale kanaal Geschiedenis TV zendt van 4 tot en met 10 oktober Beat Behind the Dykes uit, het beste van een halve eeuw Nederpopcultuur.
Stemmen op KANE voor de Nederpop Top 100 kan en wel op drie nummers; Damn those eyes, Rain down on me en Dreamer… stemmen inzenden kan vanaf nu via deze pagina.

Vote 4 KANE!

Dutch radiostation Radio 2 explores with ‘50 years Nederpop’ the music archives of the Netherlands. As off September the 29th until October the 3th the radiostation will play the best music the country has to offer. They’ll only play music from Dutch artists. On Friday the 3th of October they’ll present the first ever Nederpop Top 100, chosen by their listeners and present a live report from the Concert of Dutch pop which will take place at the Heineken Music Hall. The VPRO channel will broadcast the concert on October the 11th. On top of that Eric Corton will present a special Nederpopquiz on October the 9th on Dutch tv-channel Nederland 3. The digital channel historyTV will showcases from the 4th until the 10th of October Beat Behind the Dykes, the best of half of a century of Dutch pop culture.
Ofcours you can vote for KANE in the Nederpop Top 100 as they are nominated with three tracks; Damn those eyes, Rain down on me and Dreamer… votes can be send in as of now on this page.

DVD KANE IN DE KUIP

Dennis gooit net een update op de KANE hyves:
Hey! Even een berichtje vanuit het DVD kamp in Mol Belgie. We zitten weer eens bij onze vriend Ronald Prent in de Galaxy Studios. Altijd gezellig! D en ik zitten te werken aan en te luisteren naar de audio mix van de Kuip show. Een verdieping hoger wordt het beeldmateriaal ge-edit en daarnaast zit Wouter de menu's van de dvd samen te stellen. Er wordt hard gewerkt aan de dvd die de show van de Kuip moet gaan vereeuwigen. Hier wat foto’s van wat het ongeveer gaat worden!
Misschien waren jullie afgelopen weekend in Tiel, op Appelpop. Zo! Dat was even ietsje anders als ik het in m'n hoofd had. Wat een tent en wat een hoeveelheid publiek! Helemaal goed! Kijken of de TT Assen show daar overheen gaat komen. Het belooft in ieder geval veel goeds voor de aankomende clubtour in november, want het bandje is on fire!

Hey! Just a little note from the DVD center in Mol Belgium. We ‘re visiting our friend Ronald Prent at the Galaxy Studios. Always very cozy! D and I are working on and listening to the audio mix of the de Kuip concert. One floor higher the footage is being re-edited and next to that Wouter is working on the dvd menu's. Maybe you guys were at the Appelpop festival in Tiel this weekend. Man! Didn’t expect that. Huge tent and huge crowd! Totally awesome! Let’s see if the TT Assen concert will top that one. Looking forward to the EVERYTHINGYOUWANT tour in November, because this little band is on fire!

We’ve got a date!

Mail van Dinand: Hola guapos, Afgelopen zaterdag speelden we op het Tielse ‘APPELPOP’. 25.000 man zagen in de hoofdtent dat we het heel goed naar onze zin hadden. Zo goed naar onze zin dat zelfs een niet gerepeteerde ‘WHERE DO I GO NOW?’ voorbij kwam! Ik moet zeggen dat het heel goed voelde dat nummer, onze eerste single in 1999, nog steeds niets aan herkenbaarheid heeft verloren... Mooi! Bedankt Tiel!!!
En nu komt er dus een vervolg aan de try-out gigs van afgelopen juni. We hebben besloten deze gigs te doen omdat we die try-outs zo tof vonden om te doen en we na De Kuip graag nog meer door willen spelen in ‘wat kleinere’ tentjes. Dat doen we het liefste voor de fans. In Nederland en Belgie. Vandaar dat we er nog niet mee zijn gaan adverteren en we je deze mail sturen. Dit gaan hele intieme gigs worden, waarmee we voor ons een heel goed jaar willen afsluiten. Het liefst met alle onze KANE.NL, KANEOFFICIAL HYVES, KANE YOUTUBE, KANE FACEBOOK & KANE FANSITES - bezoekers!!!! Na de aftrap met oud en nieuw, spelen op marineschepen, voor Oranje, try-outs, De kuip en bijna platina, willen we het jaar graag afsluiten met jou in deze zalen, waar we al zo’n tijd niet geweest zijn. Wat te denken van 013 of de oude Nighttown, nu de WATT of een van de tofste try out gigs in Groningen? We hopen je daar te zien! Hieronder het lijstje van zalen, waarvan o.a. Den Haag, Utrecht en Rotterdam al zijn uitverkocht.

An email from Dinand: Hola guapos, last Saturday we played a set at the ‘APPELPOP’ festival in Tiel, The Netherlands. 25.000 people in the main tent can tell we had a good time. That much fun that we played a not rehearsed ‘WHERE DO I GO NOW?’! Have to say felt good to play that song again; our first single in 1999, still very recognizable for the crowd... Nice! Thanks Tiel!!!
And following up to the try-out gigs of last June. We decided to play these gigs because we liked playing the try-outs and because we want keep playing at the ‘smaller’ venues after the De Kuip concert. We like doing that for our fans. In The Netherlands and Belgium. That’s why we didn’t tell the world but send you this email. These gigs promise to be very intimate, and a good way for us to end a very good year. And especially with the KANE.NL, KANEOFFICIAL HYVES, KANE YOUTUBE, KANE FACEBOOK & KANE FANSITES - visitors!!!! After our kick off at the turn of the year, playing on a marine ship, playing for our soccer team, try-outs, the De kuip concert en almost getting a platinum record, we want to close this year with you at these venues where we haven’t been playing for ages. What do you think about the 013 venue or the old Nighttown venue that‘s turned into a brand new WATT venue or one of the most enjoyed try out gigs in Groningen? We’ll hope to see you there! At the moment the Paard venue in the Hague, the Tivoli venue in Utrecht and the WATT venue in Rotterdam are already SOLD OUT.

Hallo Tieeeeel!

En de ladies zijn weer veilig thuis van een zeer druk Tiel… het gratis festival Appelpop dus, daar stonden de heren en sexy lady van KANE afgelopen Zaterdag. En naast druk, droog en veel plezier was het ook lekker daar! Mooi plekje vooraan was Do haar wens en dankzij de hulp van Maarten en z’n vrouwtje Daan werd dat ook ff geregeld… damn Do je staat er, en ik ook ha… ff bizar gevoel! Maar geen tijd om daar lang over na te denken want daar kwam al de lekkere (zei toch dat het lekker was daar) SGYMI remix. De band op het podium en D die erachter vliegt en So GladYou Made It begint te zingen gevolgd door Yeah Yeah Yeah, Something To Say, en Everything You Want - en exit persfotografen maar Do blijft lekker (ja he) fototjes nemen *cute* en we komen bij Shot of a Gun, REAL, Fearless, allemaal los met Rain Down On Me en byebye Tiel - I don’t think so want we deze lady moest en zou haar sing-a-long met Din krijgen ook in Tiel en hop de intro van Catwalk Criminal klonk… en net als je All day verwacht zegt D ’we doen’t ff anders’ en krijgt de tent een f*cking lekkere (uhu) Where Do I Go Now en omdat het gewoon lekker (inderdaad) was ook die prachtige Before You Let Me Go.

Appelpop review

And the ladies return home safely after a very crowded Tiel… we visited the Appelpop fesival where KANE played a set last Saturday. Besides crowded, nice wheater and whole lotta fun it also was delish there! A nice spot at the front row was what my sidekick Do wanted and with some help of Maarten and his wife Daan Do's wish came true… damn Do there you are, and so am I ha… weird feeling standing here! But no time to panic because we heared that delish (told you it was delish there) SGYMI remix. The band got on stage and D flew on singing So Glad You Made It followed by Yeah Yeah Yeah, Something To Say, and Everything You Want - and exit photographers but little Do next to me kept shooting pictures *cute* and so it was time for Shot of a Gun, REAL, Fearless, everybody went nutts with Rain Down On Me and it was byebye Tiel - hmmm I don’t think so Mr. D because this lady wants her sing-a-long with you and hop there’s that Catwalk Criminal intro we love so much… and just when you expect that All day D is going ’hm let’s do things a bit different today’ and the crowd can enjoy a f*cking delish (uhu) Where Do I Go Now and to end the set that delish (you got it) Before You Let Me Go.

It’s London calling

Een mail van KANE: Eind september komen we onze derde officiele single ‘It’s London Calling’. Na ‘Catwalk Criminal’ en ‘Shot of a Gun’ willen we je graag laten kennismaken met alweer een andere kant van KANE’s vierde studio-album ‘EVERYTHINGYOUWANT’. ‘It’s London Calling’ is die uplifting feelgood track, die je meeneemt naar wat de zomer van 2008 had moeten zijn... Zonnig en warm!
Aanstaande vrijdag nemen we de video op in Brussel en we kunnen je al verklappen dat dit een hele fraaie video gaat worden. TMF zal bij de opnames aanwezig zijn voor een uitgebreide ‘making of’. Dus je kunt het later allemaal op TMF gaan zien.Ook zijn we momenteel bezig aan een paar heel fraaie remixen. Wat dacht je van de naam ‘Ibiza Sunset’ remix? Klinkt sexy? Is ook zo. Verder zullen we ook de radio single-versie van ‘Wanna make it Happen’ op de cd-single zetten en willen we je een kleine taste van de aankomende Kuip-DVD geven...Het artwork is heel fraai ontworpen. We willen je het heel graag laten zien, maar we moeten nog heel even wachten... Begin oktober gaan we naar de radio en een paar weken later gaan we naar de winkel. Nog heel even dus. Het is het waard.
Kortom. Het is de nazomer van 2008. Singles zijn al bijna oud nieuws. Downloads zijn de nieuwe standaard. Die komt er zeker ook, maar wij vinden het nog leuk om ‘echte’ singles uit te brengen en komen dan ook met een hele mooie cd-single met nieuw materiaal en ontwerp dat het waard is om thuis te hebben en zeker beter klinkt! Dat is een heel goed moment om met een van de mooiste liedjes van ‘EVERYTHINGYOUWANT’ te komen.

New single!

An email from KANE: At the end of September we’ll be releasing our thirth official single ‘It’s London Calling’. After ‘Catwalk Criminal’ and ‘Shot of a Gun’ we would like you guys and gorgeous ladies to experience the other side of KANE’s fourth studio-album ‘EVERYTHINGYOUWANT’. ‘It’s London Calling’ is an uplifting feelgood track, that takes you away to what the summer of 2008 should’ve been like... Sunny and warm!
Next Friday we’ll be shooting the videoclip in Brussels and we can already say it’s gonna be something nice. TMF will be attending the shoot and will make a ‘making of’. So you all can watch that soon on TMF. Next to that we’re working on some amazing remixes. How about an ‘Ibiza Sunset’ remix? Sounds sexy? It is haha. Also we’ll put the radio single-version of ’Wanna make it Happen’ on to a cd-single and we want to give you a little taste of the up comming Kuip-DVD... The artwork is amazing. We really want to show you guys, but you will have to wait... Early October we’ll be on the radio and a few weeks later we’ll be in stores . Just a little more patience. It’ll be worth it.
So. It’s the indian summer of 2008. Singles are nearly past features. Downloads are the new thing. They’ll come for sure, but we think it’s nice to release the ‘real’ singles and therefor will be out there with a very nice cd-single with some new material and design which makes it worth to add to your collection and sounds even better! And so it’s a very good moment to treat you with one of the most beautiful songs out of ‘EVERYTHINGYOUWANT’.

KANE in Zap

Na de KANE showcase in de Antwerpse Zuiderkroon hadden we een gesprek met Lobke van Zap magazine. Ze vertelde ons dat ze die middag een heel gezellig interview had gehad met Dinand en Dennis van KANE. Het gesprek ging oa. over het nieuwe album EVERYTHINGYOUWANT, de vibe in Antwerpen, het samenwerken met Belgen en wat Dinand en Dennis’ advies is aan nieuwe bands… Dit interview kan je nu terug vinden in het gelijknamige magazine maar is ook online te vinden via www.zaptv.be op pagina 42. After the guys from KANE did a showcase at the Zuiderkroon in Antwerp, Belgium we had a chat with Lobke from Belgian Zap magazine. She told us she had a nice interview with Dinand and Dennis before their showcase that day. Een nieuwe update van Dinand op de KANE hyves:
...3 dagen later weer thuis en zie dat ik meer dan 1200 gefeliciteerd ben ha, ha! Top! Dankjulliewel! Heb topweekend gehad en dit is leuk thuiskomen. Ik ga hier heel snel een updateje schrijven, want er is weer genoeg te melden... zo schijnt er deze keer officieel een nieuwe single aan te komen. Althans daar ga ik van uit, want we nemen vrijdag de nieuwe video op voor...?

She decided to call up the vj from The life is live show on JIM tv and request her favourite KANE clip! Not only that she also calls upon every KANEfan out there to request their favourite KANE clips so they’ll be more featured on TV! How to do so? Duizenden TMF-kijkers brachten de afgelopen weken hun stem uit om hun favoriete artiest of band een nominatie te bezorgen. Ondertussen zijn alle stemmen geteld en kan er vanaf nu volop gestemd worden op de genomineerden in de verschillende categorieën. En jammer genoeg zit KANE niet tussen die genomineerden… Geen Award dit jaar dus voor de heren maar ze komen WEL een kick ass performance geven op de 10de TMF Awards show! Wil je erbij zijn dit jaar in het sportpaleis check dan de TMF Awards site hoe je aan tickets kan komen en alle info rond de Awards show!

Like a thousand TMF-viewers voted on their favourite artists the past few weeks to get them nominated for the TMF Awards. And so the nominees have been made public today. To bad KANE didn’t get enough votes (what the hell happened?) and didn’t get nominated… No Award for the guys this year but they’ve promised to PERFORM during the 10th TMF Awards show! D’s DAY!

Hey wij stonden het gisteravond al te vieren ergens in de Antwerpse binnenstad en nu vliegen we ff online om het jullie mee te geven: Dinand… Mr.Woesthoff… sex-on-stage… Dièn Ollanders van Rain down on me… the Alpha male (we hebben em écht gehoord Din)… D… Hij(g)! Hij(g)! Hij(g)! … Den’s sidekick oftewel ‘hey jij ;)’ is weer een jaartje ouder vandaag!
Van ons ladies had je al een lieve jaartje ouder kaart(je) en dus is our job done ha! Wij gaan lekker verder op het ‘elan’ van gisteravond en shaken op je Bday lekker door op Laundry Day D… enne drink een glaasje champagne van ons sexy ;)

Hey we were celebrating it already yesterday evening at a delish venue in Antwerp city but now we’re flying in to get you guys updated on it: Dinand… Mr.Woesthoff… sex-on-stage… that Dutch guy from Rain down on me… the Alpha male (I swear to God we heared that one Din)… D… HIM! HIM! HIM! … Den’s sidekick or just the ‘hey you ;)’ guy is a year older today!
From us, the ladies, he already got a sweet (little) card and so our job is done ha! We’re off on the same vibe as yesterday evening and will shake off Din’s Birthday on Laundry Day… and send on that glas of champagne in D’s honour… here’s to you sexy ;)

KANE in Expositie Den Haag

Het stond al ergens half augustus op de website van het Haags Pop Podium maar de opening is deze Zondag dus geven we’t jullie toch ff mee: Tijdens het Haags Uit Festival op 7 september start in de Centrale Bibliothek aan het Spui een expositie met werk van Haagse popfotografen. De tentoonstelling ‘Haagse popfoto’s’ laat onder andere werk (met oa foto’s van de gigs van KANE…) zien van de fotografen Paul Bergen, Thomas Heye, Ron van Varik, Eefje Lammers, Peter de Hoog, Jeroen Pauwels, Aad Spanjaard, Inge van Holstein, Maaike van Grol, Henriette Guest, Michella Kuijkhoven, Peisam Tsang en Jolanda van Wijhe.
Doel van deze tentoonstelling is het onder de aandacht brengen en visueel zichtbaar maken aan het grote publiek, dat popfotografie van Den Haag als popstad met zijn optredens, festivals en popmuzikanten een tijdloos en onlosmakelijk element binnen de Haagse popmuziek is. De tentoonstelling is tot maandag 6 oktober te zien in op de tweede verdieping van de Centrale Bibliotheek. Daarna verhuist de expositie naar het Internationaal Perscentrum Nieuwspoort in Den Haag.

We read about it a while ago on the website of the Haags Pop Podium but seeing the exposition will open this Sunday we want to update you on it: During the Haags Uit Festival in The Hague on September the 7th an exposition that contains work of popfotographers from the Hague will open at the Centrale Bibliotheek at het Spui. GODVERDOMME SITTARD…

Wij vonden het errrrrrg lekkur daar in Sittard en gooien nog dit weekend foto’s online -beloofd haha kijk anders alvast ff naar de foto‘s op KaneFansiteBelgium - maar ook de mannen van KANE vonden het lekker want we lezen in een update op de official KANE hyves na hun op het Sint Rosa festival te Sittard: En dus is het best een stukje rijden. En Sittard is nou eenmaal niet zo heel erg bekend hier verderop... Maar de stad wilde graag dat we kwamen en dus gingen we.
Godverdomme Sittard, dat was geweldig. We gingen met een heel goed gevoel bij je weg. Wij speelden goed ja, maar jij minimaal net ietsje beter ha ha. En dan Maartje... Maartje ging los. On stage en backstage. Maartje... dat heb je zeker ook verdiend. Wij vonden het helemaal top dat je er met ons indook; 1,2,3,4.. It's R.E.A.L. allright!Soms zijn er van die avonden.. het is er dan opeens. Dit is er zo een!

We had a blast during the set KANE played at the Sint Rosa festival and put a few photo’s online for you guys this weekend -we promise- but the guys from KANE also had a good time as we can read in a New update on the official KANE hyves: So it was a bit of a drive. And Sittard isn’t really known in these parts... But the city wanted us to come so we did.
God damn Sittard, that was mindblowing. We left your place with a good vibe. We played kick ass, but you played it even better ha ha. And that Maartje... Maartje reached the sky. On stage and backstage. Maartje... You deserved it. We loved the way you got into our groove; 1,2,3,4.. It's R.E.A.L. allright! Sometimes you get these nights… everything’s right. This was one of those!
