KANE in festivalitis…

Die geur, die pollen in de lucht, die kriebels, die drang naar overdreven decibels... Yep, de festivalzomer is volop bezig en de beste interviews en livefragmenten zie je natuurlijk in Festivalitis op de Belgische muziek- en jongerenzender JIM!!! Ook KANE zal geïnterviewd worden op de Lokerse feesten meld de redactie ons vandaag en dat interview kan je vanaf volgende week Maandag 4 augustus dus bekijken in Festivalitis. Wanneer precies is nog niet echt beslist maar dat kan je via de JIM website wel terugvinden (daar kan je ook leuke sfeerfoto’s op terugvinden trouwens) en wij houden jullie natuurlijk ook op de hoogte van de uitzenddag!

That smell, that tussock in the air, the gitters, the urge for loud decibels... Yep, it’s that time again for summer festivals and the best interviews and live recordings you will get served in Festivalitis on Belgian music channel JIM!!! Dutch band KANE will be interviewed before or after thir performance at the Lokerse feesten festival the lovely people at JIM just informed us. This interview will be on the show some time next week. Not clear just when but you will be informed about it on the JIM website (check out the awesome pics from the festivals on there) or by us!

KANE - moeten er nog promoladies zijn?

Nu Vrijdag is KANE te gast in het Donna City Café en staan ze s’avonds op de Lokerse feesten.
Een weekje later laten ze de Oude markt in Leuven daveren op z’n grondvesten voor een nieuwe editie van Marktrock. En dit jaar heeft Marktrock een blogger die regelmatig z’n eigenzinnige kijk op de te verwachte acts van deze editie op de site gooit. De KANEpromoladies kennen deze muziekliefhebber al een tijdje en mailden hem vorige week met de vraag of er geen blog over KANE kwam? En vandaag staat die blog online: Kane - moeten er nog promoladies zijn?. Nah…wij vinden em meer dan ok! En… bedankt Bart ;)

Marktrock blogs on KANE

This Friday KANE will appear at the Donna City Café and will get on stage that night at the Lokerse feesten festival.
One week later they’ll set fire to the Oude markt square in Leuven Belgium for a New editio n of the Marktrock festival. This year you can find a blog on the festivalsite that refers to the acts that will get on stage.. The KANEpromoladies know the blogger for a while now and asked him if there was any chance he’d write a blog on KANE? Well today he put it online: Kane - any need for more promoladies?. Unfortunatly this blog is written in Dutch but we’ll make work of a translation! In any case… we’re happy with it! And… Thanks Bart ;)

The belgian festival de Lokerse Feesten will kick ass for the 34th time in a row this year! The complete line-up was made public this week and we think they are startings off in a very nice way on their opening night Friday the 1th of August as they invite Dutch band KANE to their stage… and guess what sexy? En zo is alles weer duidelijk - een email van KANE: De Kuip is nu een paar weken geleden en de adrenaline begint eindelijk wat af te nemen. Het was te gek! We willen nog een keer! In ieder geval komt dit najaar een live registratie van ons Kuip concert op cd en dvd uit. We houden je uiteraard op de hoogte over de precieze release date.
Als voorproefje kun je alvast een klein stukje Kuip zien in de videoclip die we bij 'Wanna Make It Happen' gemaakt hebben. Hij is tof geworden en en je kunt'm nu exclusief op 'KANE Backstage' bekijken!Ook op de Backstage site: een filmpje met beelden van onze eerste vijf Clubtour concerten: Groningen, Utrecht, Amsterdam, Eindhoven en Arnhem. Met footage van de shows en - hoe kan het ook anders - beelden van ons backstage.

There you go - an email from KANE: The De Kuip concert was a few weeks ago and the adrenaline is slowly fading. It was wicked! We want to go again! For you guys there will be a dvd and cd released of this concert this year. We’ll keeop you posted on that.
As a sneak preview you can check out a little snippet of the De Kuip concert in the videoclip we made for 'Wanna Make It Happen'. He turned out so cool and you guys get the first viewing in the section 'KANE Backstage' on the EVERYTHINGYOUWANT open disc! Also added there: a film of the first five Clubtour concerten: Groningen, Utrecht, Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Arnhem. With footage of the shows and some backstage recordings, offcours.

Ow Baby Baby… summer’s here en langst alle kanten krijgen we hier de vraag WAAR is KANE ??? Een deel van de band staat nog op diverse (rock)podia met hun bandjes en D. en Dennis ehhh relaxen ff van een intense try-out tour doorheen NL, de showcases bij Qmusic en het grote Kuip avontuur en zijn op vakantie. Niet voor lang want de KANE zomer agenda is weer lekker gevuld en op 1 augustus staat de band alweer op de Lokerse feesten in België en op 9 augustus moet het Leuvense Marktrock er aan geloven. Om vervolgens de hele maand augustus op grote en kleine zomerfestivals in Nederland te spelen. Check voor een volledige touragenda onze tour pagina!
Nog een vraag was of er een dvd van het KANE in de Kuip concert komt. Antwoord: YES BABY! En dit nog voor de jaarwisseling, wij denken perrrrfect kerstcadeau alsjeblieft, dankjewel! Meer info hierover in onze volgende updates…
Ook een veelgestelde vraag is waar je terecht kan voor de nieuwe KANE merchandiser. Met de launch van de nieuwe www.kane.nl zal er ook een website voor deze merchandiser te vinden zijn. Nog even geduld, het komt goed!

And getting caught up in the rain…

Ow Baby Baby… summer’s here and we keep on getting questions like WHERE are KANE ??? A few of the bandnemers are rocking it with their other bands and D. and Dennis ehhh are relaxing, cause that’s what you do after an intense try-out tour through the Netherlands, two showcases and the big the Kuip adventure. But they’ll be back soon as the KANE agenda is packed this summer. Kicking things of on the 1th of August at the Lokerse feesten festival in Belgium and getting things firered up on the 9th of August at the Marktrock festival in Belgium. The guys will also be playing at several festivals in the Netherlands in August. Check the full agenda on our tourdates page!
Another question we got from a few of you; will there be a dvd released of the KANE in de Kuip concert? Answer: YES BABY! Before the turn of the year the dvd will hit the shops, so we’re thinkg a perrrrrfect christmas gift for you guys! More info on the dvd to come later on…
We also get a lot of questions on where to buy KANE merchandiser; when www.kane.nl will be relaunched you will be able to find an online shop/website where you will be able to buy KANE merchandiser… just hang on it’ll soon be online!

nieuwe KANE fansite!

KANE is terug met EVERYTHINGYOUWANT en ook in België is dat niet onopgemerkt gebleven. Na de Qmusic showcase van vorige maand en de verwachte optredens op de Lokerse feesten en Marktrock in augustus staan er ook enkele eigen shows in België op de agenda. De Belgische fans worden met andere woorden beloont voor het lange wachten op hun favo band! Een van hen is Dorien en zij heeft een Belgische fansite opgericht om de Belgische fans up to date te houden van alle KANEnieuwtjes… en daar zijn de KANEpromoladies meer dan blij mee! KANE is back with EVERYTHINGYOUWANT and Belgian fans are nuts about it. After the showcase at the Qmusic studios and the expected gigs at the Lokerse feesten and Marktrock festivals in August the guys will do a few shows in Belgium. Their way of thanking the Belgian fans to be as dedicated as ever! One of those fans is Dorien and she created a Belgian fansite for the band to keep their Belgian fans up to date on all the KANE news… no need to say the KANEpromoladies are very happy with this! Dinand wrote a new update on the KANE hyves in which he looks back on the past try-out tour and everything what comes along with that; the promotionele trip to Belgium and the showcase in Antwerp; and the concert at the de Kuip venue last Saturday. oh what a night

Afgelopen zaterdag avond speelde KANE in de KUIP! De ladies waren erbij want ‘het concert van het jaar mag je niet missen’ werd ons een paar dagen voorheen nog’s duidelijk gemaakt… en die zin werd meer dan waar gemaakt… van een band dat van de eerste tot de laatste noot plezier had in het spelen/zingen/rocken tot een stadion waarin de meest kleine en intieme liedjes de weg naar ieders harten vond en waar de mexican wave een paar keer voorbij kwam… vuurwerk op en rond het podium… en als afsluiter nog een leuk feestje… hey wij hebben al es saaiere Zaterdagavonden gehad ;) Bedankt mannen en lekker stuk, het was geweldig jullie glimlachjes en pure rock te zien/voelen/horen. Het enige wat wij dachten tijdens en na het concert was ‘damn wat zijn wij trots op dat bandje’… misschien jij ook?

KANE in de KUIP - feedback

Last Saturday KANE played live at the de KUIP venue! The ladies decided to go and see the guys after someone mentioned ‘ ladies you really can’t miss out on what’s gonna be the concert of the year’… and oh boy we can say now we’re so glad we attended the concert of the year!… we got to see a band that had fun in playing/rocking/singing together and a huge soccer stadium that felt like a small rehearsal room during the ‘little’ songs and a crowd that went nuts and gave the band a few mexican waves just to show them they were having fun… check out the setlist above… fireworks on and beside the stage… and a very cosy party afterwards… hey we in the past we had some less exciting Saturday evenings ;) Thanks you guys and Miss sexy, it was great seeing you smile and to get a taste of your rock ‘n’ roll. We just kept thinking ‘damn sure are proud of that band’… maybe you were thinking the same?
